Tomorrow I head back to Philadelphia to resume my Ph.D. at Penn and it is bittersweet. There is a lot to look forward to, new research projects, being a TA for a first year class, and getting to know the other great 2022-2023 VIEST fellows! However, it also emphasizes the closing of another chapter. The one I spent in San Francisco and Oakland this summer while interning with Brimstone Energy. I knew I was going to get to learn so many technical and analytical skills at Brimstone, but what I didn’t realize was that I was going to meet so many great people and it was going to be hard to say goodbye. Overall, it was a great experience this summer and I have a lot to look forward to in the last few years of my Ph.D. I am so grateful for the opportunity to intern with Brimstone and to meet all of the amazing folks there! I truly could not have asked for a better summer internship experience!
