I am so proud to be a part of a of an organization that is supporting LGBTQ+ people in STEM! This year, attending as a volunteer was such a different experience than that of a participant. I am honored to volunteer with the Leadership & Education team to assist in annual conference coordination, programming, and hosting the Leadership Development Program.

This year at the 9th Annual oSTEM Conference, I had the privilege to share my knowledge and experiences in three different programming sessions.

• Getting OUT of Your Head and Into Your Body: The goal of this workshop is to build presentation confidence by the practice of improvisation.
• How to Tell Your Story: Writing a Compelling Application: The goal of this workshop is to share experiences and provide critical information for writing professional personal statements that also include your identity.
• Chapter Leadership Summit: The goal of this workshop is to assist chapter leaders in successfully organizing their chapters and equip them with skills to make change on their university campuses.

The 9th Annual oSTEM Conference is one that will not be forgotten!
